The Palace of Kensington is located in Chelsea, along with Bayswater Road, in the door of entry of the famous Notting Hill.

The history of this palace begins at the end of the XVIIth century, when king Guillermo III and the queen Maria II want to escape of the cold that reigns in the Palace of Whitehall, placed along with the Thames. They decide to buy Nottingham House in Kensington Village, which for the epoch was withdrawn enough from London.

They decorate it and turn it into an authentic palace. Nevertheless, it would be king Jorge I who really dedicates his time to the Palace of Kensington, dedicating his efforts to him and extending it, hiring big artists of the epoch to decorate his walls.

Really he had left so well that, to his death, Jorge II, his successor, turned the Palace of Kensington into his principal residence, settling there with his wife, the queen Carolina. Nevertheless, with the premature death of Carolina, king Jorge could not see in him any more than the memories of his wife, and he neglected the palace.

The palace did not recover his heyday again up to the arrival of the queen Victoria, who precisely was born in Kensington. Today even it is possible to visit the room where he was born and the room where it was baptized. Also, in your trip you will know the place where Victory slept like princess and got up like queen, since the dawn of June 20, 1837, his uncle was dying, and llea he was inheriting the crown of England.

It was the moment in which the queen Victoria left Kensington to go to live to the Buckingham Palace. Nevertheless, he never forgot the place where he was born, and the day of his 80 birthdays, the queen Victoria wanted to open to the public the palace.

In the last decades, who gave him fame again to the Palace of Kensington was Lady Di, the princess Diana Welsh, who lived there during the marriage with Prince Carlos, and just before his death. His children, Guillermo and Enrique, also were living with her in Kensington.

It is sure that you still will remember the thousands of branches of flowers that, days after the death of Diana, the Englishmen and persons come from all the corners of the world, they deposited in the doors of the Palace of Kensington, in memory of Diana. Precisely, from Kensington it divided the funeral procession of the princess up to the religious office in the Abbey of Westminster.

Nowadays, in the Palace of Kensington there live three cousins of the queen Elizabeth II, and the persons who work so much for the queen as for Prince Carlos have apartments in Kensington. There can be done visits guided to the palace, which last one hour and a half, or simply walk along his gardens. Nevertheless, do visit this living history of England.

Sap: trip to Vietnam in the center of Prague

We were in Prague and it turned out to be curious to us to begin seeing a series of Vietnamese walking along the city. Suddenly, we double a corner and meet Sapa, or what is the same, a kidling Hanoi in full heart of the Czech capital.

Sapa

Sapa is a Vietnamese flea market to the south of Prague. Most of the articles that we will see here come from China. The best thing of everything is that they are very cheap, authentic bargains that, if you haggle good, can turn into the best memory of your trip.

In Sapa you will find a little of everything. Clothes, Vietnamese meal as rice, noodles, grasses, spices, meats and another series of products that you will not see on any other market of Prague, products done to hand to half of price with regard to the shops of Prague, Chinese toys, Vietnamese traditional music and much any more.

After seeing the flea market, Sapa also offers the possibility of penetrating into the quarter and of sitting down to eat in some of his bars. The noodles soups Vietnamese is usually the specialty of the house. There are many types of soups of noodles, although the most popular and the one that makes use in all the bars is the Pho.
Of all the bars and restaurants we want to recommend to you three of them. They talk each other of Hai Phong, Thang Long and Hue Xua, since in any of these three the meal is prepared to the Vietnamese traditional way. The noodles bowls are usually very cheap and tasty. Anyone would say that we are in full Prague …

Really, there is no loss to be able to come up to Sapa. The best thing is to take the red line of meter from Kacerov or the yellow line from Smichovske. Also it is possible to go in bus from Kacerov, which even works the weekends.

Also there is a very interesting tourist option, since the tourist buses 133 and 333 pass for Sapa. You can go down, throw a glance to the area, and then raise you in another tourist bus, since the ticket costs for the whole day.

Without a doubt that Sapa is an attraction more that it has for showing us the city of Prague. Unfortunately, it is not usually in the principal tourist routes of the city, is usually gathered in all the guidebooks of Prague. You will feel as if inside Prague hubiérais traveled round a few moments up to Vietnam.
